Follower of Christ, explore the life Jesus came to provide for you.

Following Christ can be a challenging path. While we experience the hope and peace of God’s presence, we feel the stress of daily life, the seduction of a godless culture, and the guilt and shame of not being all we believe we should be for God. Jesus came to set us free into a relationship with our Creator. I recently retired from corporate work to focus on helping believers in Jesus to build a faith that endures and to cultivate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Stranger’s Conflict

In Romans 7:15-19, Paul describes a universal struggle: the desire to do good but failing and doing things we know are wrong. This internal conflict often leads to frustration and guilt, contrary to God’s intentions for us. “The Stranger’s Conflict” explores why we face this inner turmoil and offers insight into overcoming it. I talk about how you can navigate these conflicts by embracing God’s grace, ultimately finding peace with God, and living a fulfilling life as a Christ follower.

With degrees in biblical studies and business management, I spent 50 years working in the business world, most recently as a business analyst. Now retired, I dedicate my time to my family, my church, and sharing how we can live out a practical, everyday faith in Christ.

Join me in a journey to build a faith that endures by cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion tends to place a burden on people’s lives, but following Christ is really about freedom: freedom from sin, freedom from external checklists, and freedom to become all that God designed us to be and to do all that He redeemed us to do. Join me while I explore this freedom on my journal.

The Purpose Mastermind

Finding Purpose In Life

The Bible is clear that God engages each of us in relationship for a for purpose that encompasses all of our life. He doesn’t save us simply for heaven some day when we die. He knows us intimately and more deeply than we know ourselves and He has purpose for each of us here on earth.

I work with a friend named, Mark Delaney, to help people discover their purpose. Knowing and focusing on our purpose can be a powerfully transforming adventure in life. If you want to learn more about knowing your purpose and living a life of purpose, click the link here.

A Call to Ask: God’s Invitation for Engagement

I was sitting in church a few weeks ago and felt the Lord press upon my heart to, “regale My throne with your requests!” In that moment it dawned on me how many times I fail to ask God to be present in my situations and to work in the

Christianity – More Than Religion

Recently, I came across a post on social media where the author described their faith in Christ as more than just a religion—it was a personal relationship. This idea sparked a lot of debate in the comments section, with some questioning how Christianity could be anything other than a religion.

Our Daily Bread

There are many people who see little or no value in reading the Old Testament scriptures. I am persuaded the Old Testament is a wonderful way to learn about how God worked with people of various times and cultures. When I first started reading the Bible years ago, all I

Three Ways We Miss God’s Best For Our Lives

When Adam and Eve sinned in Genesis 3, humanity would take one of two courses in their existence. The first course would be to hide from God and rebel against His design for us. The second path would be to come out of hiding, be open with God and allow

The Battle of the Weed

Looming Evil One late winter day a few years ago, I stepped out to the garden to see how it had wintered. I wanted to get peas in the ground and knew I would have some work to do before I could plant. I saw the usual decaying winter cover and of course, the weeds. I had planted none of these weeds,
